Thambi: Jyotika heaps praise on director Jeethu Joseph

Jyotika has showered praise on director Jeethu Joseph who is waiting for the release of Thambi on December 20th. “He will leave the scene to the performing artist. He lets the artists do their best at the same time gets what is needed,” she said.

“What I liked in him is, he approaches any scene with logic. He also gives attention to the audiences’ perspective. I don’t think many directors do that now,” she added.

Talking about her role, she said, “I have portrayed a mother on screen. This is the first time I’m doing sister role. It’s new and I loved it. I tried to look younger than Karthi. That’s my look in the movie.”

Also starring Karthi and Sathyaraj in important roles, Thambi will lock horns with Sivakarthikeyan’s Hero this Friday (Dec 20).
