Bigil touches the Rs 120 crores mark in Tamil Nadu
Thalapathy Vijay’s Bigil has touched the Rs 120 crores mark in Tamil Nadu, including the second weekend total of Rs 18.2 crores from the state. The film directed by Atlee and produced by AGS topped both the Chennai city and TN box-office in its second weekend.
Kaithi came in at the second position at the box-office in TN. Terminator: Dark Fate and Dhanush’s hold-over blockbuster Asuran occupied the third and fourth slots at the box-office.
Bigil has become Vijay’s hat-trick in TN to sail past the Rs 120 crores mark and now stands at 2nd position (next to Viswasam) in the highest grosser of 2019 movies. The WW total of Bigil is expected to touch the Rs 250 crores gross mark soon.
