Karan Johar raves about Dhanush’s Asuran
Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar, one of the self-confessed fans of south Indian cinema, took to his Twitter page to rave about Dhanush’s Asuran, which has become the actor’s top-grossing title in Tamil Nadu, dethroning his previous superhit Vada Chennai.

Johar also heaped praise on Vetrimaaran’s craft and storytelling. Asuran marked the fourth-time collaboration between Dhanush and Vetrimaaran and was produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu’s V Creations. The film topped both Chennai and TN box-office in its third frame. The TN theatrical gross of the movie has sailed past the Rs 40 cr mark in less than 20 days.
