Kaappaan plagiarism case adjourned to September 4th
Chennai civil court has adjourned the plagiarism case against Suriya’s Kaappaan to September 4th. Petitioner John Charles has filed a copyright infringement suit and sought an interim stay against the film’s release on September 20th.
John Charles claims that he had narrated a story to KV Anand a few years back and has learned now that the promo videos of Kaappaan look similar to his story. Bankrolled by Lyca Kaappaan also stars Sayyeshaa, Arya, Mohanlal, Boman Irani and Samuthrakani in important roles.
