K13 is a well made mystery thriller which unfolds in a non-linear manner and takes audience to an edge of the seat experience. If you're a fan of suspense thrillers, do not miss this outing which has a story to tell till its last frame.

Arulnithi who is widely known for his different choices of script, is back this year for a mystery thriller K13. Teaming up with debutant director Barath Neelakantan, he has proved it yet again that the script is the only star and it can make him and the team to stand tall.
K13 kicks off with Arulnithi, a soon to be director in thirst for a new script and Shraddha Srinath, a writer who finished writing a book, meeting up in a pub. Their conversation in the party makes both to gel well together and results to a crime scene in Shraddha’s flat. How Arulnithi comes out from the mystery and what happens later is the story, which comes across with a lot of turns.
What makes K13 more special is its gripping screenplay, tense situations and a non-linear screenplay. A big applause to director Barath for coming up with an impressive thriller with a crisp duration under 2 hours. Above all, there is an unexpected twist at the end when one thinks its all over. So never miss a moment in the film right from the start to the end credit, and pay attention to the proceedings at the end with extra care.
Performance wise, both Arulnithi and Shraddha have done their parts well, giving what the script demands. Technically, K13 is rock solid with fabulous camera work from Aravinnd Singh and rousing BGM score from Sam CS.
