Reliance Entertainment to take over Indian 2?
The Kollywood grapevine is abuzz with reports that director Shankar has approached Reliance Entertainment to bankroll Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan. Sources say Lyca Productions is not willing to solely produce the film on a massive budget.
Reliance Entertainment may join as a co-producer or may take over the project completely if they find it feasible. After a few days of shoot, the project was put on the backburner since Kamal was busy with his political campaign. Now, sources say if the film doesn’t materialize, Shankar may move on to his next project, which is tipped to star Chiyaan Vikram and Thalapathy Vijay in the lead roles.
