Vada Chennai registers fifth-best opening day figure of 2018 in Chennai
Vada Chennai, despite receiving an adult certification from the censor board, has registered the fifth best opening day figure of 2018 in Chennai city box-office.
The total gross for the city is pegged at 81 lakhs, which is the fifth best after Kaala, Seemaraja, Vishwaroopam 2 and Chekka Chivantha Vaanam in 2018. The movie has reportedly grossed a whopping Rs 6 crores in Tamil Nadu on its opening day.
The film directed by Vetrimaaran has been already hailed as one of the greatest gangster films ever made in Tamil cinema.
