Merku Thodarchi Malai confirms release on August 24th
Vijay Sethupathi’s production venture Merku Thodarchi Malai has been confirmed to hit screens on August 24th. “I genuinely believe that we have made a good film. It will hit the theaters soon,” said Vijay Sethupathi recently in a video.
Merku Thodarchi Malai is director Lenin Bharathi’s poignant drama about the landless labor class living on the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Trailer of this festival awards winning film will be out today, August 15th.
Isaignani Ilaiyaraja has composed the music for the film, which will take on director Sarjun KM’s Echarikkai, Vijay – Prabhu Deva’s dance drama Lakshmi, Pa Vijay’s Aaruthra and Krishna’s Kalari.
