Pyaar Prema Kadhal postponed to August 10th as a mark of respect to Kalaignar

The makers of Pyaar Prema Kadhal have postponed the film’s release from August 9th to 10th as a mark of respect to Kalaignar’s demise on August 7th.

In a statement, the team said, “With profound grief that was caused by the. demise of our beloved leader Dr Kalaignar M Karunanidhi, we regret to announce the postponement of our film “Pyar prema kadhal” from 9th August to 10th August. Considering the plight of the grief stricken state we are left with no choice. As a mark of respect to the departed leader we take this decision to postpone the release for a day. We express our deepest condolences to his Family members, Cadres of his party , and the people of Tamil Nadu on this occasion. The man who always remained as lover of good cinema will be with us blessing us forever.”

Directed by Elan, PPK features Harish Kalyan and Raiza Wilson as leads. Yuvan Shankar Raja has produced the film and composed the music.
