Honored to be the face of Sikkim: AR Rahman on being appointed as brand ambassador
AR Rahman has been appointed as the Brand Ambassador of the Sikkim government. According to the official notification issued by the Chief Secretary A.K. Srivastava, Rahman will promote and project the state’s achievements nationally and globally.
“As Helen Keller rightly said, ‘The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched.’ I feel this was said for Sikkim and Sikkim only. The beauty of Sikkim doesn’t only lie in its hills and valleys but in its feelings and culture as well. I am highly impressed by the State’s development and mesmerizing culture. I’m honored to be the face of this beautiful state,” Rahman said in an official statement.
On the work front, Rahman is currently busy with Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, AR Murugadoss – Thalapathy Vijay’s Thalapathy 62 and Rajinikanth’s 2.0.
