“I have never heard a narration for three hours,” says Keerthy Suresh on Nadigaiyar Thilagam

Keerthy Suresh said she was very skeptical to accept the role of Savitri in her biopic Nadigaiyar Thilagam. Talking at the press meet, she said, “Everyone asked how I trusted a one-film-old director to helm such a huge project. I told them that the very thought of making a movie on the life of Savitri is itself great. When Nag narrated me the story for three hours, it was full of interesting ideas, and I was quite excited. I have never heard a narration for such a long time. It gave me a lot of confidence.”

She also said she wore extensive costumes for the film, which is directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. The theatrical rights in Tamil Nadu have been acquired by Trident Arts Ravindran.
