AR Rahman signed up for Thalapathy 62!

After Mersal, AR Rahman has been again signed up to compose the music for Thalapathy 62. The film marks director AR Murugadoss and Thalapathy Vijay’s third film after Thuppakki and Kaththi. 

Thalapathy 62 has cinematographer Girish Gangadharan of Angamaly Diaries fame wielding the camera. The movie marks the second association of Murugadoss and ARR after Aamir Khan’s Ghajini. 

The lead heroine for the film is yet to be finalized although Keerthy Suresh was initially reported to play the part. Bank rolled by Sun Pictures, the movie is aiming for a Diwali 2018 release.
