Critically acclaimed filmmaker Susintheeran has said that Diwali has always been special for him. “Diwali has always been something special every year to me. It all started from 1991, where I still remember the nostalgic memory of getting injured while riding cycle to the first day first show of Thalapathy. But after some time, it all became little ignorant for me to celebrate the occasion. Every time when I had to go for this festive occasion, I would be feeling little hesitant to answer, when people ask me what I am doing. But then the greatest joy occurred only after the release of Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu.”
“From then onwards, I am so elated to see that the media and journalists together have been a part of my family. In spite of ups and downs, I have been feeling elated to be a part of this industry. I wanted to release my upcoming film ‘Nenjil Thunivirundhal’ for the festive occasion of Diwali. But it got delayed due to some reasons. I am sure that this film will be gaining me a good reception as it happened with my previous films like Naan Mahaan Alla and Pandiya Naadu,” he said.
