Vijay Sethupathi’s Karuppan certified U; confirms September 29th release
Vijay Sethupathi’s rural drama Karuppan has been certified a clean U by the censor board. The movie is all set to hit screens on September 29th for the five-day Ayudha Pooja weekend alongside Mahesh Babu’s Spyder and Gautham Karthik’s adult comedy Hara Hara Mahadevaki.
Directed by Panneer Selvam of Renigunta fame, Karuppan is produced by AM Ratnam and features Tanya Ravichandran of Brindhavanam fame as the leading lady. D. Imman has composed the music for the film, whose TN theatrical rights have been acquired by Picture Box.
