Veteran actor Shanmuga Sundaram passes away!

Veteran actor Shanmuga Sundaram passed away this morning due to prolonged illness. Shanmuga Sundaram made his acting debut in Ratha Thilagam in 1963 and rose to fame with a host of memorable roles in movies such as Karakattakaran, Singaravelan and Kizhakku Vaasal. 

“Actor, uncle, thatha, friend and more.. My fav cult actor mr shanmugasundaram is no more! He was part of all my movies! May his soul RIP,” posted Venkat Prabhu who utilized Shanmuga Sundaram in almost all his films.

“Carnan, karakatakaran, chennai28. The journey was indeed long. As long as cricket is there u will be remembered RIP #ShanmugaSundaram,” posted actor Nitin Sathya.
