ATMUS Entertainment in association with AZ India Media acquires USA rights of ‘Spyder

ATMUS Entertainment in association with AZ India Media has acquired the USA rights of Spyder directed by AR Murugadoss. The movie features super star Mahesh Babu in the role of Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer.

The film, which is being made on a hefty budget, is declared one of the most expensive films ever made and also stars Rakul Preet Singh and SJ Suryah in important roles. S. J. Suryah was selected as the antagonist for Mahesh Babu. Harris Jayaraj is composing the music. Spyder marks the first time collaboration of Murugadoss and Mahesh Babu, and their combination has worked big time in generating maximum pre-release buzz, enough to attract both Lyca (Kaththi and 2.0 producer) and Reliance Entertainment and made business from all sorts of deal, theatrical and satellite rights.

The film is simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil by AR Murugadoss scheduled for release on
September 26th (Tuesday) in the US for the festive occasion of Dussehra. The distributor has been in discussion
with CINEMARK, AMC, REGAL, 8K Cinemas and other independent theater chains to ensure of the best Dolby,
RPX, XD screens in town and make the biggest release in the US.
