Nibunan’s script is not a usual cop thriller: Prasanna

Actor Prasanna talks about his upcoming multi-starrer investigative thriller Nibunan, which is gearing up to hit screens on July 28th alongside the Ashok Selvan, Priya Anand-starrer Kootathil Oruthan. 

“Director Arun Vaidyanathan is a very good friend of mine for a long time. Nibunan’s script is not a usual cop thriller. It is a brilliantly written screenplay with such well defined and unique characters. I play a cop in the crime investigation team and it is so different from the stereotypical rough and rigid cops that the audience have seen so far in Tamil films,” Prasanna said in a statement.

“It was such a wonderful experience to work with Arjun sir. His style and well-chiseled physique even after doing 150 movies are just almost impossible for others to think of. Varalakshmi was so fun to work with, and she had carried the role of a woman cop with perfection. This movie will also portray the lighter side of a cop’s life so realistically,” added Prasanna.
