Vivegam sets a record in Karnataka theatrical rights
The Karnataka theatrical rights of Thala Ajith’s Vivegam have been secured by Brunda Associates reportedly for a sum of Rs. 5.8 crores. According to trade sources, the price is said to be the highest for a non-Rajinikanth/Shankar Tamil film. Earlier, Suriya’s 24 and Singam 3 were sold together as a package deal to Brunda Associates reportedly for a sum of Rs. 8.5 crores.
Directed by Siva and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, Vivegam features Kajal Aggarwal as the lead heroine. Akshara Haasan and Vivek Oberoi play important roles in the film, which has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film is aiming for August 10th release.
