Sangamithra to be launched at the opening night of Cannes Film Festival

The title of historic epic Sangamithra, which marks the 100th production of Sri Thenandal Films, will be launched at the opening night of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Thenandal Films

Thenandal Films is co-hosting the opening night of the festival. The title will be launched at Marché du Film (Film Market) – “the business counterpart of the Cannes Film Festival and and one of the largest film markets in the world.”

Directed by Sundar C, Sangamithra features Shruti Haasan in the titular role. Arya and Jayam Ravi play the lead roles. AR Rahman composes music and Thiru will handle the cinematography.
