Amala Paul opts out; Aishwarya Rajesh on board Vada Chennai

Following the unexpected exit of Vijay Sethupathi, now Amala Paul has walked out of Vetrimaaran – Dhanush’s Vada Chennai, the shooting of which is currently progressing in Royapuram at a rapid pace. “Amala Paul has signed on a host of projects and the continuous postponement of shooting schedules in Vada Chennai has made her let go of the film,” informs a source.

According to reliable sources, the team has already roped in Aishwarya Rajesh as the replacement for Amala Paul’s role. An official confirmation is however awaited from the makers. Also starring Andrea Jeremiah in an important role, Vada Chennai will have music by Santhosh Narayanan.
