Mannan remake on cards with Lawrence – Vadivelu

The classic superhit film Mannan, starring Rajinikanth, Khushboo and Vijaya Shanthi, directed by P Vasu is likely to be remade. Sources say Vasu has discussed the idea of a remake with Raghava Lawrence and Vadivelu on the sets of their ongoing horror comedy Shivalinga and the duo expressed their approval.

While Lawrence and Vadivelu are expected to reprise the roles played by Rajinikanth and Goundamani, the team is yet to finalize the lead heroines for the project. An official announcement regarding the project can be expected soon. Meanwhile, Shivalinga is reportedly planning to hit screens on January 26th for the Republic Day weekend.
