Mani Ratnam to head to Europe for Kaatru Veliyidai
Veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam is planning to head to Bulgaria, Europe for a song shoot in Kaatru Veliyidai. Sources say the team is zeroing on picturesque locations in the backdrop of snow-clad mountain to film the song.
It must be noted that Mani Ratnam has gone abroad only twice in this three-decade-long career for shooting. He filmed in Istanbul for a brief portion and a song in Guru and Sri Lanka for Kannathil Muthamittal. Now, this will be the third time. Produced by Madras Talkies, Kaatru Veliyidai stars Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari as leads.
