Yaakkai is a satisfying soundtrack from Yuvan, which just about fits the requirements of the movie. If the film gains a good amount of buzz, the songs should fly higher.

Despite lovely instrumentations from Yuvan, what pulls the track down is the vocals of Dhanush, which doesn’t suit the song. The haphazard rendition makes this an average song on the whole.
Naan Ini Kaatril: Singers – Chinmayi, Yuvan Shankar Raja
Absolutely mesmerizing composition with the perfect vocals of Chinmayi, followed by Yuvan himself. The addition of the techno takes the song to another level, with the lyrics working in its favor. Our PICK.
Ennulae: Singer – Tanvi Shah
A borderline passable song which doesn’t have much in it to impress but for the strenuous violins. The deja-vu feel takes away most of the attention.
