Vijay Sethupathi’s Rekka joins October 7th release
According to reports in the trade, the makers of Vijay Sethupathi’s Rekka are also planning to release the film for Pooja holiday weekend on October 7th. Already, Sivakarthikeyan’s Remo and the Jiiva, Kajal Aggarwal, Bobby Simha and Sunaina-starrer Kavalai Vendam have been confirmed to hit screens on the same day.
Directed by Rathina Shiva of Vaa Deal fame and produced by Comman Man Presents, Rekka has Lakshmi Menon as the lead heroine. The movie is currently under the post production stage. Shot across Chennai, Trichy, Karaikudi, Madurai and Kumbakonam, the film has Kabir Singh of Vedalam fame plays the villain role.
