Professional British wrestler to train Ashwin Kakumanu for his next
Actor Ashwin Kakumanu of Ithurkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara and Zero fame will be trained by professional British wrestler and stunt choreographer Greg Burridge, best known for his performing stunts in Hollywood blockbuster Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows Part 2, for his next project Ithu Vedhalam Sollum Kathai to be directed by debutant Rathindran R Prasad.
Guru Somasundaram of Aaranya Kandam fame plays an important role in the film, which is touted to be a travel adventure based on Indian mythological characters. Music director Ghibran has been roped in to compose music for the project. Italian cinematographer ‘Roberto Zazzara’ will handle the cinematography.
“Crew is right now set to start their first schedule in Chambal valley in Madhya Pradesh. Greg Burridge will begin training Ashwin Kakamanu along with 30 local Indian wrestlers for the action sequences. A Bangkok-based company has started their initial prep for the VFX of this film,” reads a statement.
