Taapsee lends a helping hand to aspiring boxer

Taapsee Pannu has lent a helping hand to aspiring Hyderabad boxer Likhita Battini by teaming up with an NGO to raise funds for training and sponsorship to help her qualify for the Rio Olympics, 2016 which kickstarts on August 5th.

“It’s so sad that we are the second highest population in the world but stand 55th where Medal tally is concerned. I’m sure there is enough talent in the country and all they need is right kind of support. If I’m able to even help one world standard athlete to score an Olympic medal, I think I will call it a landmark achievement in my life,” says Taapsee in an official statement.
