‘Theri’ dethrones ‘Sivaji’ at the UK box office

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Theri has dethroned Rajinikanth’s Sivaji to take the second spot in the lifetime UK box office collections. Rajinikanth’s Endhiran still tops the chart with the numbers for Tamil version alone standing approximately at INR 6 crores.

Theri, which is declared a blockbuster in the UK, has so far collected Rs. 3.9 crores beating Sivaji’s lifetime collection of Rs. 3.8 crores. It’s been 19 days since the film hit screeens. Come May 5th, Theri will have to make way for Suriya’s much-awaited 24, which is releasing in 20+ screens in the UK.
