Rajinikanth conferred with Padma Vibushan award

Rajinikanth received the Padma Vibushan award, the second highest civilian honor in India, from president Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapathi Bhavan, New Delhi today. Superstar flew to Delhi yesterday to participate in the award ceremony along with his wife Latha Rajinikanth who was also spotted at the function.

Rajinikanth is currently busy with the shooting of Shankar’s 2.0 where he shares screen space with Akshay Kumar, who plays an important role. He is also awaiting the release of gangster drama Kabali, which is slated to hit screens towards the end of May or early June.
