Chennai 28 sequel kickstarts with a pooja

The pooja for the much-awaited sequel to Chennai 28 happened today with the entire cast from the first part in attendance. The principal shooting will kickstart on April 10th and will be completed in a non-stop schedule of 50 days, as per a close source.

While Venkat Prabhu’s regulars Yuvan Shankar Raja and editor Praveen KL are on board, cameraman Rajesh Yadav is the new addition to the crew. Jai, Vijayalakshmi, Premgi Amaren, Mahat, Vaibhav, Shiva, Vijay Vasanth and Arvind Akash are all part of the sequel, which is produced by Venkat Prabhu’s home banner Black Ticket Company.
