50 days of Petta: Nearly Rs 225 crores of global earnings

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Petta has successfully completed nearly 50 days and the movie has earned an estimated total of Rs 111 crore in Tamil Nadu alone, with more than Rs 60 crore share.

Petta is also the seventh double-century grosser for Rajinikanth, who registered the highest-grossing Tamil film in 2018 with Shankar’s sci-fi epic 2.0. Worldwide, the movie produced by Sun Pictures has earned nearly Rs 225 crores in theatrical earnings. Petta also marked the third century grosser in Tamil Nadu for Rajinikanth after Enthiran and 2.0.
