5 days Box Office: Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu grosses 150Cr+ worldwide!
Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu has grossed over 150Cr approx in its 5 days (till Jan 15th) at the worldwide box office and will be continuing its dream run successfully. Varisu marks as the 7th Thalapathy Vijay film to gross over 150Cr in the global box office followed by Theri, Mersal, Sarkar, Bigil, Master and Beast. Varisu registers 66Cr gross in the Tamilnadu BO alone in the opening 5 days and has grossed over 10Cr in Karnataka, Kerala and AP/Nizam respectively.
In overseas, Varisu mints 1M$ in USA and over 1.4M$ in North America. Whereas in Singapore, Varisu collects SG$ 831,055, A$ 500K in Australia, NZ$ 58713 in New zealand. Varisu is now officially Thalapathy Vijay’s highest grosser in the UK, registering £669,412 in 5 days, confirms its distributor Ahimsa Entertainment. Varisu is also doing exceptionally well in the UAE BO and the exact numbers will be out very soon. Varisu also debuted as the #1 film in Malaysia Box Office for the period of Jan 12-15th.
