425 screens for Iru Mugan in TN in its second week
Producer-distributor Mahesh of Auraa Cinemas has said that Iru Mugan will run in 425 screens in Tamil Nadu in its second week. Until Tuesday, the film has grossed Rs. 29.25 crores in Tamil Nadu and it has already emerged as the third best opener in Chennai city followed by Rajinikanth’s Kabali and Vijay’s Theri.
“We are expecting INR 8 crores lifetime gross in Chennai city and INR 50 crores lifetime gross in Tamil Nadu,” said Mahesh at the success meet of Iru Mugan held yesterday. Trade is quite satisfied with the film’s performance at the box office thanks to the reasonable rates at which the movie was sold by Shibu Thameens.
