Director Vetrimaaran has successfully completed 30 days of shoot for his gangster epic Vada Chennai, which will be made as a trilogy. The team has canned a majority of the scenes within a grand jail set in Chennai.
Dhanush would be seen as a small time gangster who slowly makes his way up to become a politician. Sources say that the actor has completed changed his voice modulations and body language for this role, which is said to be one of his most challenging ones in his career.
The team would soon be moving to the second schedule, by the middle of September. Amala Paul is almost confirmed to be a part of the project, and the team would be making their official announcement very soon.
