24 Teaser Review: Packs A Solid Visceral Punch!
With the much-anticipated 24 Teaser all set to be released tomorrow (March 4th) at 6 PM online, Only Kollywood had an opportunity to catch the same in a special preview yesterday. Here is our brief bullet-point review of the teaser, which packs a solid visceral punch .
- The swiftly paced cuts of designer-editor Deepak Bhojraj revealing three different roles of Suriya with AR Rahman’s scintillating score pack a solid visceral punch. Infact, we get to see five different get-ups for Suriya’s three different roles. The two distinct color-tones employed to differentiate the present and the future look simply smashing!
- Suriya plays the roles of a scientist and gangster (twin brothers), who is superbly named – Aathreya! He perfectly aces the badass Aathreya with wonderfully effortless panache. The younger Suriya is paired with Samantha and the older Suriya, looks like, is paired opposite Nithya Menen. Both the lead ladies get a blink-and-you-miss shot each
- Dazzling visual art: The story promises a dazzling visual art with spectacular set-pieces that evoke the curiosity of moviegoers. The two noteworthy sets that capture our attention in the teaser include the science lab and the gigantic time machine
- Setting the sci-fi mood: The teaser is meticulously thought-out with interesting frames from start to finish. If you notice with a keen eye, a ‘watch’ is revealed to be the key element in the film. The title font appears in the jumbled background of numbers defining the time-travel genre evidently to the viewers to set the right mood
The audio launch of the film will be held in Hyderabad towards the end of this month and an official announcement is expected very soon. The makers are planning to release the film end-April or sometime in May.
