’24’ Piracy: Studio Green Gnanavelraja to go on indefinite hunger strike
Popular producer Gnanavelraja has announced that he will go on an indefinite hunger strike from today evening 5 PM in an attempt to unite the Tamil film industry to take stern measures to kill piracy. Apparently, Suriya’s latest release 24 was pirated on the opening day at 9.45 AM show in PVR Cinemas (Screen 3) which is located at Orion Mall, Bangalore.
A report submitted by Qube Cinemas with the help of Forensic Watermarking (FWM) software presents a clear-cut analysis of how and when the movie was pirated. Sakthivelan of Dream Factory has confirmed that the digital license of PVR Cinemas in Chennai has been revoked. Gnanavelraja has called for an emergency meeting in Tamil Film Producer’s Council at 5 PM to explain the issue.
