“Yuvan’s first track for Peranbu has enlivened our spirits,” says Ram

Yuvan Shankar Raja has produced soul-satisfying albums in director Ram’s Kattradhu Tamizh and Thanga Meengal. Even as fans are gravely awaiting the audio launch of Taramani, Ram has revealed that Yuvan has already completed the first track for his forthcoming film Peranbu with Na Muthukumar’s lyrics yesterday. “The song has enlivened our spirits. The project will go on floors in Kodaikanal from January 8th,” says Ram.

Peranbu marks Malayalam star Mammooty’s comeback film in Tamil after a long time. Anjali, who delivered a sterling performance in Ram’s Kattradhu Tamizh, will play the role of a transgender in the film. Baby Sadhana of Thanga Meengal fame also plays a pivotal role.

Meanwhile, Ram’s Taramani, starring Andrea Jeremiah and Vasanth Ravi, is expect to hit screens for summer.
