Yennai Arindhaal rakes in highest premiere opening in the USA for Ajith
The premiere shows of Yennai Arindhaal has raked in the highest ever gross for Ajith Kumar in the USA. The overseas distributor ATMUS Entertainment has confirmed that the film has minted around Rs. 70 lakhs from 75 screens, the best opening for Ajith in the USA.
However, the numbers are still lower than Vijay’s Kaththi which earned Rs. 87 lakhs from 76 screens but it had an advantage of opening on a festival weekend. Meanwhile, I also earned more than 1 crore but it also released on a festival weekend. Now, the million dollar question is whether Yennai Arindhaal will cross the half million USD or not!
