Yaanum Theeyavan Songs Review

Review Overview

Nenjukulle
Aagayamey
Nila Nila
Yaanum Theeyavan
The Rise of a Gangster
Nenjukulle Unplugged

Typical, yet listenable.

Yaanum Theeyavan is a listenable soundtrack from Achu once again. Though it doesn’t stand up to the levels of Urumeen, it still is a honest effort which instills the fact that we should start looking forward to his albums hereon. Good stuff.

Cast: Ashwin Jerome, Varsha Bollamma, Raju Sundaram, VTV Ganesh, Ponvannan

Music: Achu Rajamani

Lyrics: Mani Amudhavan, Kabilan, Yaaminighantasala

Diirector: Prashanth G Sekar

Label: Think Music

Nenjukulle: Singer – Suchith Suresan

With ease, Achu manages to catch onto a fun-filled beat aided well by Suchith Suresan’s vocals. The high hook and the band-like instrumentals come together nicely, making it our PICK!

Aagayamey: Singer – Yaamini Ghantasala, Achu

The heavenly feel that the composer draws in here is what makes it click. Despite the deja-vu, you might like this.

Nila Nila: Singers – Jithin Raj, Swetha Mohan

This song might sound a little too typical until Swetha Mohan enters the scene, and transports it into another level. A radio-friendly track that is sure to go places, our PICK.

Yaanum Theeyavan: Singer – Achu

A powerful theme track with interesting blends and vocals, which gets repetitive towards the end. Nevertheless, a laudable try.

The Rise of a Gangster: Singer – Achu

Nothing exciting here, a plain track with heard-before instrumentations. Might work with the film.

Nenjukulle Unplugged: Singer – Achu

Even though Achu does a good job on the vocals here, the track stills falls short of the original. Mind, don’t matter.
