Yaan – Songs Review
Review Overview
Hey Lamba Lamba
Aathangara Orathil
Latcham Calorie
Nenje Nenje
Nee Vandhu Ponadhu
Fairly Engaging!
Mundane tracks replete with elements from the composer's repertoire but thanks to two good numbers in Nenje Nenje and Aathangara Orathil, it looks occasionally interesting.

- Hey Lamba Lamba – This number has a slight resemblance to ‘Maelae Maelae’ from Idhu Kadhirvelan Kadhal (which itself is a toned down version of Elay Keechan) with the same clap sound and guitar strings in the background. Devan’s vocals are too good. A passable listen!
- Aathangara Orathil – Gaana bala’s vocals set to techno beats looks like a winner. Quite engaging and a good tune. The song provides a brand-new experience of listening to a Gaana Bala number unlike the regular dappanguthu tunes he has been singing for quite sometime now
- Latcham Calorie – A mundane Harris material but wonderfully sung by Chinmayi and Arjun Menon. Though scarcely appealing, it doesn’t make you scowl
- Nenje Nenje – Harris’ winsome tryst with lyrics starting with ‘Nenje’ continues. Fantastic rendition by Unni Krishnan (been a long time, no?) with an excellent support from Chinmayee towards the end
- Nee Vandhu Ponadhu – A template Harris song replete with elements from the composer’s repertoire. Thanks to the wonderful vocals from Bombay Jayashri, Ramya NSK and KK, the song manages to last for a while
