Why is Sadhuram 2 called a philanthropical thriller?

Sumanth Radhakrishnan, who is making his directorial debut with Sadhuram 2, has opened up about the reason behind the film being marketed as India’s first philanthropical thriller.

“We decided to call it as philanthropical thriller since the film has many socially conscious elements that people would associate with. Sadhuram 2 will be a novel experience for audiences,” says director Sumanth.

Starring Yog Jaypee, Sanam Shetty, Kaushik and Riaz in the lead roles, Sadhuram 2 is inspired from the popular Hollywood thriller Saw franchise conceived by James Wan.
