Vedalam secrets unveiled
Some interesting snippets from Ajith Kumar’s upcoming film Vedalam have been unveiled. Ajith Kumar plays a character called Ganesh in the present portions of the film and appears as Vedalam, a don based in Chennai. While the present portions are set in Kolkatta, the flashback portions happen in Chennai. Lakshmi Menon plays the role of an art student and her character is named Tamizh in the film. Thami Ramaiah essays the role of Ajith’s father and Appukutty plays Ajith’s friend.
Vedalam is not a horror film as speculated by many on the web. It’s a commercial gangster actioner on the lines of Baasha. There are plenty of action sequences in the film shot in various locations like Binny Mills, Race Course, Film City, Mohan Studio and Milan in Italy.
With the post production and promotions in full swing, the audio will be released today midnight to celebrate Anirudh’s 25th birthday. The film is all set for Diwali release.
