“Ulkuthu is based on the lifestyle of fish choppers,” says director

Director Caarthick Raju, who made a fairly good debut in Thirudan Police, is teaming up with Attakathi Dinesh and Kenanya Productions again for a film titled Ulkuthu which features Nandita Swetha as the lead heroine. Bala Saravanan, Chaaya Singh and Dilip Subbarayan play important roles in the film.

“Ulkuthu is a movie based on the lifestyle of fish choppers. We discussed many coastal towns and villages for the same but the unanimous choice was Nagercoil for the story’s backdrop. The unique culture of Nagercoil makes plenty of difference to the script,” says Caarthick Raju. The technical cast comprises of Praveen KL for editing, Justin Prabhakaran for music and PK Verma for cinematography.
