“There’s a social message in Eli,” says Vadivelu

Vadivelu, who is gearing up for the release of his next film Eli as a solo hero, says there is a message in the film. “There’s a social message in it. I realise that I’ve never cared much about educating people with my humour, but that’s something I want to do now. I haven’t consciously flavoured my jokes with a social message,” says Vadivelu.

Directed by Yuvaraj Dayalan of Tenaliraman fame, Eli features Sadha as Vadivelu’s romantic interest. It has music composed by Vidhyasagar.
