“There are about 1000 VFX shots in Miruthan,” reveals director

Jayam Ravi’s Miruthan, which is gearing up for release on February 12th, has appromixately 1000 VFX shots. “There are about 1000 VFX shots and out of which audience may identify 10-15, while the rest will be too difficult to make out. I find comparisons between Miruthan and Warm Bodies silly.There are about 400-500 zombie films. In all of them, you will find similarities, like how the virus is born and how it turns people into zombies,” says director Shakti Rajan.

The film has Ravi essaying the role of a traffic inspector and Lakshmi Menon plays the lead lady. Produced by Michael Rayappan under the banner Global Infotainment, Miruthan has Lakshmi Menon playing the lead heroine and the film is slated to release on February 12th worldwide.
