A concise disc from DnA.

Though Thangamagan does not offer space for the energetic side of Anirudh, he scores decently within the walls he is restricted to. There are a lot of minute turnarounds in the soundtrack that the composer surprises you with, which give it some feathers despite a slight deja-vu. Dhanush and Anirudh keep up their respect.

This, is Anirudh’s sequel to Po Indru Neeyaga. With his trademark flavours, he draws in a slight Thiruvaasagam feel to it, making it a fine composition. However, Dhanush’s vocals don’t actually fit in, pulling down the tempo.

Tak Bak: Singer – Anirudh

Being the one and only lively song in the album, it comes with a mischievous feel coupled with a peppy beat. Familiarity yes, frenzy no.

Oh Oh: Singer – Dhanush, Nikitha Gandhi

Oh Oh has Dhanush in a new sleeve, trying out new paths which he hasn’t treaded previously. Nikitha Gandhi’s voice easily juxtaposes Amy’s character, making it our PICK.

Enna Solla: Singer – Shweta Mohan

Excellent is the word. For Swetha on the mic. And for Dhanush with the pen. A simple yet sublime number with interesting, lovable interludes. Our PICK.
