Surya is Raju Bhai in Anjaan

Madhan Karky who has penned the lyrics of Anjaan’s opening song ‘Bang Bang Bang’ has revealed the character name of Surya in the film. It is tipped as a gangster saga and Surya’s character name is Raju Bhai who lives in Andheri, Mumbai. “Thanks to @dirlingusamy & #Yuvan had lovely experience composing this foot-tapping opening song of #Anjaan with them. #BangBangBang,” tweeted Karky who is also writing dialogues for Surya’s untitled project with Venkat Prabhu. Already fans have started drawing parallels between Vijay’s character name Vishwa Bhai in Thalaivaa with Surya’s.

Jointly produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Thirupathi Brothers, Anjaan is directed by Lingusamy and has Samantha Ruth Prabhu sharing screen space with Surya for the first time. The audio launch of the film is expected to be held in July and the film is gearing up for release on Independence Day.
