Suriya’s next with Vikram Kumar is an action adventure
Director Vikram Kumar of 13B and Manam fame narrated a story to Chiyaan Vikram few years back, a sci-fi subject but the project didn’t materialize for reasons only known to them. Now there were reports that Vikram Kumar has adapted the same story for Suriya’s upcoming yet-untitled film. “I have been working on this action adventure genre for the past five years and what was suggested to Vikram was the first draft. Though the core of the theme is retained, over a period, the story has taken a radically different form,” clarified Vikram Kumar to a daily.
The film is still under scripting stage and will go on the floors only after Suriya completes Venkat Prabhu’s Masss. “The story has a proper mix of action, humor, sentiments, romance and all the elements that will hold the attention of the target audience, aged between six and sixty,” adds Vikram Kumar. It has two female leads and the casting process is yet to be finalized. When quizzed about any cameo role for Jyothika in the film, Vikram says “If there is a powerful cameo that warrants her presence, I would love to cast her.” Shall we get to see the evergreen Suriya – Jyothika chemistry on screen again?
