Shraddha Srinath to do special cameo in Mani Ratnam’s Kaatru Veliyidai
Kannada actress Shraddha Srinath who rose to fame with the acclaimed Pawan Kumar-directed U-Turn has been signed by Mani Ratnam to do a special cameo as a military brat in his upcoming film Kaatru Veliyidai, which will kick-start shooting soon. Shraddha’s cameo is said to be a crucial part and will contribute to the narrative effectively. The movie stars Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles.
Shraddha Srinath is also part of Nivin Pauly’s yet-untitled first straight Tamil film which is being directed by debutant Gautham Ramachandran. An official remake of Kannada hit Ulidavaru Kandanthe, Shraddha plays the role of a journalist in the film.
