Sethupathi confirmed for release on February 19th

Vijay Sethupathi’s cop drama Sethupathi has been confirmed to hit the screens on the 19th of February. Directed by Arun Kumar who made the acclaimed Pannaiyaarum Padminiyum, Sethupathi is said to be a realistic cop drama centered on the personal life of a police officer who loves his family. Since Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum is expected to get pushed to end-February or early March, Sethupathi is likely to be Vijay Sethupathi’s first release this year.

Sources also suggest that Vijay Antony’s Pichaikkaran is eyeing for release on the same day. With back to back releases scheduled for the next two weeks including notable ones like Bangalore Naatkal, Saagasam, Visaaranai, Miruthan and Jil Jung Juk, February is going to be a jampacked month for exhibitors and audiences.
