Selvaraghavan clarifies on Gitanjali’s Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam

While everyone thought Gitanjali Selvarghavan’s directorial debut Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam is Selvaraghavan’s shelved project with Dhanush few years back, the latter has clarified that it’s a brand new project and he has only lent the title for his wife dearest. “My wife @GitanjaliSelva s #maalainerathumayakkam has nothing to do with my earlier project starring dhanush,” tweeted Selvaraghavan.

“This film, funded by a new producer, has a fresh cast and crew, and their names will be announced shortly,” said Gitanjali earlier. Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam has Sridhar, the long-standing associate of Ramji, as cinematographer and has screenplay by Selvaraghavan.
